Booking Policy

To secure your appointment, we require a credit card on file. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking unless a cancellation or no-show fee applies. This policy helps us ensure that our time and your spot are respected.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows will be charged the full price of the service.

Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice. You can reschedule online within that timeframe. We’ll always work with you to find a time that works within our availability, but please note that rescheduling within 48 hours may be subject to the cancellation fee mentioned above.

Credit Card on File

To confirm and secure your booking, a credit card is required to be on file. We treat your information with the highest level of privacy and security. Your card will only be charged for services rendered or in cases of cancellation fees as outlined.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are a perfect way to share the luxury of our services with a loved one. Gift cards can be purchased in any amount and are redeemable for any services or products offered at August Collective. Gift cards are non-refundable but may be transferred or used for services at your discretion.

No Children Policy


At our boutique salon, we prioritize creating a safe and relaxing environment for all clients. Due to the nature of sharp tools, hot styling equipment, and potentially harmful chemicals, children are not permitted in the salon unless they are receiving a service themselves. This policy ensures the safety of everyone and allows us to focus entirely on delivering the best possible experience for our clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Visitor Policy


Our salon suite is designed as an intimate space dedicated to your service, and there are no additional chairs available for visitors. If someone accompanies you to your appointment, they are welcome to wait in the designated seating areas located in the front waiting area or around the building where benches are available. This ensures a comfortable and distraction-free environment for all. Thank you for understanding!

At August Collective, we are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring you have a positive experience with us. However, to maintain fairness and transparency, we have implemented the following policies:

No Refund Policy

We take great pride in the time, skill, and products that go into creating your desired hair color and look. Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds. While we strive to make every client happy, it’s important to note that hair is unpredictable and results can vary based on individual hair type, history, and condition. Some desired results may not be achievable in one visit, and we will always set realistic expectations during your consultation.

If you are unhappy with the outcome, we are happy to work with you to address your concerns and schedule another appointment. However, additional sessions will be charged at the full service price.

Change of Heart Policy

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about the look you wanted after the service is completed. If the result matches what we agreed upon during the consultation but is not what you envisioned, you are welcome to schedule another appointment for adjustments. Please note that these adjustments will be treated as a new service and charged at the full price.

Stylist Discretion Policy

At August Collective, we value the relationship between our stylists and clients. If, at any point, your stylist feels that they cannot meet your expectations or that the services we offer are not a good fit for your needs, they will let you know. This decision will be made with your best interest in mind, ensuring that you receive the care and results you deserve.
